1) All dogs in our care must be fully vaccinated and be free from any known infectious diseases. If your dog has diarrhea or sickness, please cancel your appointment with ample notice and we will re-book it for another suitable date. Any specific health conditions must be notified to staff upon booking so we acommodate the dog's individual needs and keep him or safe and comfortable.
2) We do not groom pregnant dogs as not only can any stress upset the mother, but it can also cause miscarriage or re-absorption of the puppies. Although this is a very small risk, we will not take it with any dog's life born or unborn. If you are planning to mate your dog, please book your dog in before this to have a good groom to last her throughout the pregnancy and at least 5 weeks until after the pups are born. This keeps everyone safe and happy.
3) If you have an aggressive dog (with people or other dogs) or one that you know does not like the grooming experience, please let us know upon booking so we can accomodate the dog and keep everyone safe.
4) If you have a matted dog or a dog that has not been groomed for more than 2 months, please be aware that we may have no other choice but to take the dog shorter than usual or requested. This is purely for the dogs health and well being and will only be carried out if completely necessary and as sympathetically as possible. We will always contact you to talk you through the options available before carrying out any changes to the origianl groom requests. You have a choice to not go ahead with the groom at this stage, but will be made aware of any harm or suffering you may be causing should you not take our advice. A charge will still be made for the work done up to the full cost, depending on time and work undertaken.
5) We use CCTV throughout our premises including in the shop area and all calls are recorded for training purposes.
6) All new bookings will be charged a deposit of 50% of the total cost of their groom for the first visit. This is to protect from potential 'no showing' as this costs the business and wastes staff time.
7) EasyPet and it's employees are not responsible for your dog when entering or leaving the salon. Please ensure you fit your collar and lead correctly before opening the door.
